There's the Mercy Ministries 5k on October 22nd and the Susan Komen 5k, cure for cancer walk-run on October 29th. I can't wait and am ready to get my running on! |

Flashback Friday!
Library Time
I have discovered that the library is actually a fun and amazing place for my girls. A place where I can sit on the couch or floor (read if I want to) and let them run around like crazy with other children-in a learning filled environment! Yep, you read that right. They have toys, books, computers, and craft time for the kiddos. The childrens area is seperated from the other sections of the library so they can be loud and not interrupt others who are coming for their own enjoyment or who come to get away from noisy kids.

And where the majority of the toys are and parents sit. |
So yeah, the library is a place for mom's/dad's to bring their kids for fun and a major distraction time for them. So if you are a parent, look and do some research into your local library for a place to take your kids. Seriously!

An organized house please!
H.E.L.P! Now that I'm a 'stay at home mom', I'm having difficulty even starting to organize. Why you may ask? Because, I feel as though all I do is clean clean and clean some more. The kitchen for example gets messy every day. I'm doing laundry on a weekly basis. Dang, just folding clothes and putting it away is a hasel. I clean the kitchen everyday for example and it takes me at least an hour because of my little 2 year old who will not stop getting into stuff, leaving me with no time to actually sit down and organize.
Honestly, the organizing probably hasn't started because I don't know how to even start! I look at my bonus room aka toy room daily and just SCREAM. I want someone to help me get started. ughh! Another thing that I struggle with is my procrastination and ummm, hate it to say this, but I get so easily distracted and can't focus on one room alone. I go from one room to another picking up stuff, rather than stay in one room and just finish it. It's too hard for me to stay focused. I wish I were like some of my friends whose homes are so organized and look so good. I get so jealous because they don't struggle like I do. I feel as though I'm a bad mommy because my girls obviously look up to me and they're going to end up like me. This stresses me out.
So to make me feel a little bit better, I'm going to stick to this quote that makes me feel a bit better about my lack of organization and cleanliness. If you have any good advice on what might help, please please please let me know.

Redbox Movie Night
Have ya'll seen this movie???
Robert and I had a date night 'in'. Okay, when I first saw the previews to this movie 'Arthur', I have to admit I thought it looked dumb and not worthy to watch. But you guys....my goodness! This movie was actually quite good and I'm so glad I watched it. It was one of those stupid, funny, entertaining, yet made me cry kind of movies. Really! Yes I cried!!! It's a comedy obviously, but if you want a good movie that'll make you do all those things, RENT IT! The movie had me laughing A LOT the entire way through. It's definitely worth the buck! Lessons to be learned from this movie...REALLY! Money isn't everything and can't always provide happiness. Now go!

Little Elena
My cute little neice Elena, who by the way is now almost 8 week (crazy how fast time goes by), had her baby dedication ceremony this past Sunday. This is a tradition with our church. A baby dedication is a ceremony in which parents, and sometimes entire families, make a commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God's will and to raise that child according to God's Word and God's ways.

Didn't this picture turn out so good?! I was so proud because both my girls actually looked at the camera and smiled. Yay for good family pictures. |
After the ceremony we all enjoyed some good mexican food. I love my big ol family. So much fun when we're all together.

What shall I do now?!!!
This girl, who's kept me highly entertained this summer is leaving me to go back to school! Sad face!!!
We've gone swimming like every freakin' week since I've quit my job to stay home with my girls. It's been great let me tell you. We would play and worn the girls out by playing with them for about an hour-then put them down for naps so her and I could have some 'girl talk'. Grownup talks are highly needed when you are home all day with little rugrats who want your full attention and can't stay still for longer than 5 minutes. So going swimming and talking is a fun way for both the girls and me to be entertained. Oh and of course I've developed a nice tan out of it. :)
So now that she's started school (teaching), I'll be going ALL ALONE. :( *womp womp*): I know we'll still have our talks, but not in this relaxing, laying out kind of way. So whatever! Go back to school with your bff Mary. But just know, you won't have nearly as much fun though. haha. I know regardless of our fun relaxing days in the pool, we'll still remain old friends for life. We'll still have our fun times and talks on a weekly basis.
And last but not least, this picture below will only make our swimming days that much more special and memorable!!!! Bwahahaha!
